Jen Chapin has had a long term career as a singer/songwriter and is currently busy working on her latest release and planning her next tour. It’s inspiring how she somehow manages to help the world through her activism, be a wife and mother and still tour and make music all the while maintaining a positive attitude! You may be asking, has being the daughter of hit songwriter Harry Chapin helped her in the music biz? Read on to find out, you might be surprised that she still faces many of the same challenges as the rest of us!

More than ten years since I joined my first band, I’m still waiting for that big break. But last year, I stopped waiting for that dreamy proposal when Zack popped the question on the only sunny day in June, in Stamford, Connecticut.

She’s a spiritual chick and a rocker chick who believes in serving her rock sisters. And that’s just the beginning.

This past August we were lucky enough to spend some time at Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls and, needless to say, once again we were very impressed. Lorraine Leckie is a no-nonsense singer/songwriter whose music combines honest, heartfelt poetry with beautiful, simple melodies, all performed with an attitude that’s hard as nails and barely concealing of an aching vulnerability just below the surface.
Before turning her heart over completely to music, however, Lorraine’s artistic side and her desire to see the world drew her to the field of fashion.
